We are seeking a Sr. Jira Administrator! 100% remote.
This project will focus on developing a new Jira instance for a large organisation focused on a self driving vehicles and other projects across the company. You will be the senior administrator for and will be gathering the business requirements of the organisation and customising Jira accordingly. In addition, you will be responsible for on-boarding, customisation, user support, maintenance and will be the overall Jira subject matter expert.
Must have maintained a production instance of JIRA for 1-2 years
Background on Jira administration & configuration
System settings, user and group management, project configuration, Issue types, workflows, etc.
Familiar with Agile methodology and processes ○ Creation of boards, backlogs, sprints, etc.
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritise and multitask
Deadline and detail-oriented
Onboarding new users and training users of JIRA best practices
Team oriented and result driven
Reports, Dashboards and JQL
Jira Rest API's
Should have experience with Jira training, end user support and consulting delivery
Experience with Portfolio for Jira 2.14
Atlassian Certified ACP100
Previous experience with end user training and knowledge transfer
Background on DevOps and System Optimisation
Knowledge and experience using GCP or other public cloud infrastructure
Bug fixes and feature enhancements for services
Attending regular project meetings and providing weekly updates on progress and
Debugging customer reported issues and production problems.
Characterising performance issues and solving them
Deployments to pre-production and supporting deployments to production environments.
Going through code reviews and conducting reviews themselves.
Administrate the systems to ensure proper profiles & permissions are set up for new users joining the teams.
Implementation, database migration scripts and supporting infrastructure to execute detailed design provided.
Deployment tools and scripts for deploying the services to cloud environment
Writing unit and integration tests for automated scripts.
Provide ongoing training to existing and new team members of the team.
Perform customer requested enhancements.
